A small white tiger cub was found abandoned next to a garbage container in the Greek capital of Athens. The animal is four months old. It was found by zoo officials in Athens, NDTV reported.
According to the Greek authorities and the management of the zoo, the animal was a victim of illegal trade and arrived in the country illegally.
The zoo explained that the tiger is in poor health. The animal is paralyzed from the waist down.
The white tiger is currently being treated at the Athens Zoo in the hope of recovery.
